Thanks for the tag, Daniella. Apologies for taking so long to respond. I read your post last week when I was waiting in a queue, made a mental note to respond later, then promptly forgot!

So my travel essentials for a car trip -

- as well as paper towel, I take aluminum foil and cling wrap

- box of tissues

- Vegemite (that's a MUST have - I'm Aussie, can't you tell?!)

- jelly-jube type lollies e.g. snakes, jelly babies (it's the only time we have lollies!)

- thermal flask of hot water and makings for tea 'n' coffee

- insect repellant and sunscreen (we're Aussie, did I tell you that already?!)
