You could always write about your attempt even if the sonnet never comes together. Sharing your process and where you came to grief would be of interest to other writers - and it would show that you had an awareness of what you were trying to do. I did that with my first sonnet.

Of course, you might discover that you're a whizz at sonnets in which case, brag and boast as much as you like - we like to hear success stories too! xoxo
