Fatima, this is an exceptionally brave thing you have done here and I am so glad you have because I am sure it will resonate with so many who have the good fortune to read it.

From having read other pieces that relate to your personal circumstances, I know you've been through the narcissist's wringer which is enough to explain the source of your anxiety and depression.

I love what you say about being able to pull yourself out of depression by living for yourself and doing things that make you happy. Writing is obviously something that makes you happy and helps you further down the path to being healed.
